The University of Sydney is running an interview study which will explore Australian adolescent boys’ online experiences in relation to body image and identify strategies to promote positive body image. The study will also explore what types of body positive online content are deemed the most helpful and acceptable for adolescent boys. Understanding adolescent boys’ experiences will help inform intervention and prevention efforts in research to improve adolescents’ body image.
Participants will be given a $30 online gift card as a token of appreciation. The interviews will be online outside of school hours. The parent/guardian and adolescent will both be required to provide informed consent before the adolescent’s involvement in the study.
