The Personal Wellbeing Index has been developed to measure the subjective dimension of quality of life – Subjective Well-being. It contains seven items of satisfaction, each corresponding to a quality of life domain: standard of living; health; achieving in life; relationships; safety; community-connectedness, and future security. Each of these domains are also theoretically captured in the global question “How satisfied are you with your life as a whole?”
