Projects & Partnerships

The Youth Coalition is regularly engaged in a number of short-term and on-going projects and partnerships; which relate to research, sector development, resources, workforce development, and other activities. The Youth Coalition takes a collaborative approach to all its work, in consulting and engaging with members and stakeholders on policy and advocacy opportunities; and in the development and implementation of sector development.

Current project-specific partnerships include:

  • Training and Professional Development Calendar: The bimonthly Training Calendar is produced by the Youth Coalition in partnership with the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug Association ACT and the Mental Health Community Coalition ACT;
  • Comorbidity Bus Tours: The monthly Comorbidity Bus Tours are implemented in partnership with the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug Association ACT and the Mental Health Community Coalition ACT;
  • Under 10%: This workplace tobacco management project is implemented in partnership with the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug Association ACT; and,
  • Multicultural Youth Affairs Network (MYAN): The MYAN is currently coordinated with funding received in partnership with the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network Australia, through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
